Treasures of Türkiye

 

Day 1: Welcome to Türkiye. You’ll be met at Istanbul Airport and transferred to our joining hotel in the heart of the Old City. This evening we meet for a welcome briefing followed by a group dinner at a nearby local restaurant before settling in for our first night in Istanbul.
Day 2: Today we explore the highlights of Istanbul with a guided tour, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. This incredible city, where Europe meets Asia, is the perfect introduction to the journey ahead. In the afternoon the motorcycles are delivered to the hotel for handover, documentation and a full riding briefing before another night in Istanbul.
Day 3: We depart early to beat the traffic and follow the Sea of Marmara south towards the Gallipoli Peninsula. Here we visit ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine and other moving memorials before continuing to our boutique accommodation for the evening on the Gallipoli Peninsula.
Day 4: A morning ferry takes us across the Dardanelles to Asia before visiting the legendary ruins of Troy. From here we ride south on scenic secondary roads, stopping at the ancient city of Pergamon before reaching the charming coastal town of Foça where we stay by the Aegean Sea.
Day 5: Today’s ride takes us inland through rolling countryside and mountain passes, avoiding the busy highways. By afternoon we arrive in the beautiful village of Sirince, famous for its traditional architecture and relaxed atmosphere, where we spend the night.
Day 6: A rest day from the bikes as we explore the spectacular ancient city of Ephesus with a local guide. One of the best preserved Roman cities in the world, Ephesus is a true highlight of Türkiye, and we return to Sirince in the afternoon for another relaxed evening.
Day 7: We ride south through the fertile Meander Valley, with optional stops at impressive ancient sites such as Priene or Didyma. By afternoon we reach Bodrum, a vibrant seaside town known for its harbour, nightlife and coastal charm, where we settle in overlooking the Mediterranean.
Day 8: A fantastic riding day on quiet coastal and mountain roads. We skirt Lake Köyceğiz and cross the Dalyan River by ferry before continuing along the Mediterranean coast to the yachting town of Dalyan, where we relax for the evening.
Day 9: Following the spectacular Turquoise Coast, we enjoy sweeping views and plenty of photo opportunities. At Üçağız we park the bikes and take a short boat transfer to the picturesque village of Kekova, accessible only by water, where we stay in this unique and peaceful setting.
Day 10: A leisurely start before returning to the mainland and riding scenic mountain roads into Antalya. Our hotel sits high above the Mediterranean, offering sweeping coastal views, and we enjoy the evening here.
Day 11: Leaving the coast behind, we climb into the Taurus Mountains before crossing the vast Anatolian plateau. After a stop in Beysehir we continue to Konya, the spiritual home of the Whirling Dervishes, where we will stay in the historic centre.
Day 12: A classic long-distance riding day across wide open landscapes. En route we visit the impressive Sultanhani Caravanserai before reaching Cappadocia, with an afternoon orientation ride introducing this surreal region before we settle into our cave hotel.
Day 13: An unforgettable day exploring Cappadocia. An optional sunrise hot air balloon flight is highly recommended, followed by visits to underground cities, rock-cut churches and spectacular valleys before returning for another night in this remarkable region.
Day 14: This morning the motorcycles are transported back to Istanbul while we fly from Cappadocia. The afternoon is free for sightseeing, shopping or relaxing ahead of our final evening back in Istanbul.
Departure day: Spend some more time in this ancient city or fly home, the choice is yours
