2014 Road of Bones Route Back to News List

Mick has now successfully researched a new route through Europe for the 2014 Road of Bones Expedition. “This is a new and exciting route that takes in some of Europe’s finest and most renown regions” says Mick from his hotel in Austria!
We have completely changed the European section of this motorcycle expedition that now travels to one of Europe’s most picture perfect villages of Brugge, Belgium, before continuing onto the Rhine Valley and staying overnight in the beautiful St Goar, Germany. Next port of call will be one of the worlds most spectacular castles of in Neuschwanstein the German state of Bavaria very close to the Austrian border. Crossing into Austria the ride then continues onto what has to be one of the best European rides of the Grossglockner, Austria.
We then rejoin the original route taken by previous Road of Bones Expeditions when we reach Salzburg however we go via the infamous Eagles Nest, Hitlers bunker during WW2.
Have a look at some of the photos to whet your appetite
