Charley Boorman leads Australia tours with Compass Expeditions

In early 2013 Motorcycle Adventurer Charley Boorman led two fantastic tours with motorcycle tour experts Compass Expeditions that were a huge success. The first tour was called Sydney to the Outback and was an amazing 10 day ride passing through the Blue Mountains, Broken Hill, Flinder Ranges before heading south through the stunning Barossa Valley, The Grampians and finishing with a ride along the iconic Great Ocean Road to Melbourne.

The second tour was the Tasmania and the High Country Tour and crossed to that southern land full of twisty turns, beautiful scenery before returning to Victoria and riding through the highlands and one of Australia’s most spectacular National Parks, Kosciusko NP in New South Wales finishing the trip in Sydney.

The great news is that Compass Expeditions can announce that in 2014 Charley Boorman will again lead two tours to the Outback and Tasmania. He is a man with a great personality, fantastic stories and insights and a genuine pleasure to ride with. Along the way you get more of a view into who Charley is, what is important to him and what his plans are for the future.

During the 2013 tour writer Mark Hinchliffe was invited to come along and record one of these epic motorcycle adventures. Below at the link you will find Mark’s interview with Charley Boorman where he talks about the Long Way Round, Dakar, Australia and various other stories on his Motorbike Writer Blog.
