Compass Expeditions Crew Training in Brazil Back to News List

Stage one of the new Compass Expeditions crew training is now complete. We have moved from the classroom into the field so to speak. All applicants proved to be remarkable and it was an extremely tough decision to decide who to keep and who to let go, so tough in fact that we have decided to employ 3 crew per tour to evaluate how this goes. Stage two, (the fun bit), participating in a actual running tour has now begun with Daniel from Brazil, Justin from Canada & Felix from Spain all heading up the Best of Brazil ride to Foz do Iguazu. Further training will be conducted by Jerry until Foz.
Accompanying us on the training in Brazil were our management team of Sayda, from Peru, who handles all the reservations, permits and the plethora of other regulatory issues we face and Eddy, from Argentina, who handles all our maintenance, workshop and mechanical issues that occasionally arise.
It was great to meet our latest clients, Brian, Ahmed, Ian, Sandra, Rick, John and Adriana in Rio for one night before the start of our epic 42 day South America Coast to Coast Motorcycle Tour. This small group will be joined by 5 others in Foz do Iguazu for the Aguas y Salars tour.
